Constructing a CV for employment

In this blog post below is my Journey to creating the perfect Cv for my platform and future opportunities which is linked within media. As any CV should it contains my personal info, achievements and education. As well as past work experiances and interests as a whole.

Personally CV's should include alot more but i understand now after researching into what one is that it needs to be precise and informative about you as a person and what you can offer. Overall through my three drafts of CV progress i think my CV has became better and is very well laid out and proffesional it needs to be consise so its not a journal it needs to one page or even less because its important to show it all one one proffesional document.

Research into whats a CV

Website/article i used to find out more of what a CV is and how to structure it -

In this link they offer wide range of support and information to help any person build a CV in the right way they help in each catagory and each point making each one right and fitting without making useless points in it. They break down each sections of CV writing and how to it properly because sometimes CV can be hard to make they help with word placement and how much to write whilst giving you the tools to create a CV that you can proud of and you put the work in they even offer links to CV templates in it aswell.

My three drafts on CV creating and how each one improved and what came with it -

Draft 1 -

In this draft i had all the right info and formatting but its was a very messy and basic the layout was bad and it was not proffesional enough i also did it on powerpoint so when uploading its very zoomed in and messy overall not a bad first draft but needed to be improved dramatically in the second draft.

Draft 2-

In this version (second draft) i improved dramatically on the layout and the formtatting of the overall CV it was messy in the first version and wasnt proffesional at all the second draft i improved on a template and catagory placement and writing itself as well as i ditched powerpoint as i learnt it wasnt a good way to create a CV i used word documents to create a better and tidy version of my first draft.

Draft 3-

My third and final CV draft this is one is the perfect example of how a CV should look and feel i improved the last vesrion by adding more definiton and information into my work placements and interests as well as fixed layout a bit more and spelling overall i improved over the last 2 versions by making this one more proffesional and marketed towards media as a whole. Overall this is my final draft of CV that is ready for usage and future opportunities.
