Work Experience

The main source of my work experience has and is coming from Media savvy is a local business model which supports charity, events comedy nights and more there are a digital front base business involving all types of digital promotion there are also closely associated with Diego's which is a local bar that is inside the same building where media savvy operates out of. I mainly having been working in digital promotion and social media events where I operate a film camera and take some snapshots of the place around media savvy or what new item there are advertising and I use photoshop to make the photos ready for promotion and the social media pages.

These are just a few of my most recent snap shots i took. These range from the new media savvy calendars they wanted photographing and some of the Christmas sets they asked me to photograph and look good. These were fun i learnt different angles and different techniques in each one. I used photoshop after this to edit them in different manners such as lighting, contrast, vibrancy, saturation. These were just a few they eventually used to advertise on the social media website I was a big part of promotion in media savvy and still am.

The work i have done and learnt in media savvy has ranged from being an assistant to editing videos and trying out new formats. I went from the first couple of weeks of learning photoshop in new ways to experiencing and learning how to effectively use expensive film cameras' I am now comfortable with the skills and techniques i learnt along the way. I  would say the roles i have learnt or currently working at in media savvy. Social media manager. promotional material header, photography assistant, set design and more I have learnt communication skills, teamwork, leadership, management and more in media savvy it has helped me improve my college work and personal projects.

These photos I'm very proud of because I think not only do they suit the brand but I took them with the film camera and edited them my self I was told to come in to a comedy set night and get background stills for the social media pages and I waited for the right moments and took photos that i thought was worthy enough for social media. I also after taking over a dozen or so i edited the colors slightly to fit the warmth look of the Diego's Joint I wanted this to fit in with there other social media branded photos.  This shows I'm capable of following techniques and fitting with what works for them.

These were some of my favorites photos I have ever took because I think they look so detailed and professional the same process goes with these ones I took them at a angle with a professional wide lens (for some of them) or a regulars short close up lens and just experimented with the photos i took I tried positioning lighting and more with each one and after that I went into photoshop once again to up the colors slightly to give it that vibrant, cozy bar look that media savvy feels and is.

Overall -

Media savvy has been great for me not only personally to gain social skills but also in terms of experience of a business and a media frontside i have learnt and expanded on skills i learnt in college/school i have experimented with extremely expensive digital cameras. Media savvy has adapted and made me better at multitasking with different workloads as well i have been treating it like a proper job and it has helped massively to understand my responsibilities within media. I have loved working at media savvy and i am very grateful for the opportunity to work there and i hope i can learn and adapt my skills ongoing with media savvy in the future.
